An antique Japanese Meiji era enamel over brass charger plate. The plate is enameled with a polychrome image of a pair naturalistic cranes in blossoming flowers on blue background made in the Cloisonne technique. The border is decorated with polychrome floral, foliage and geometrical motifs made in the Cloisonne technique. The backside is adorned with a swirl pattern, and a floral design, made using the same technique. Circa: late 19th century to early 20th century.
