Wilhelm Klein is known for Portrait, figure, landscape and genre painting. Landscape painter Wilhelm Klein was born in 1821 in Dusseldorf. Wilhelm studied from 1831 to 1843 at the Dusseldorf Academy with Julius Hubner. From 1835 to 1840 he was a student of Johann Wilhelm Schirmer and then from 1840 to 1843 was a master student of Wilhelm Schadow. Wilhlm went on study trips through Germany, Tyrol, Belgium, the Netherlands, Northern Italy and Switzerland. An art exhibition Klein is credited with is the 1838 Berlin Academy exhibition. He was co founder and member of the Dusseldorf artist association Malkasten from 1848 to 1897. One of a kind artwork.
