An antique wood desktop bureau for documents or a travel writing case. Presumably made in France, circa 1880-1890. The back and front walls and base of the bureau are rectangular, the side walls are rounded. The front part is closed by a retractable wooden curtain, which rests on the front wall and is locked with a mortise lock. Inside, four horizontal partitions form four drawers. Tables, Furniture, Home Decor, and Collectibles.
