An antique Japanese Meiji Era cylindrical shaped enamel brush pot. Circa: 19th century. The cylindrical form pot is enameled with polychrome medallions with cranes in blossoming flowers surrounded by a swirl motif made in the Cloisonne technique. The neck and the base of the ware are adorned with foliage and geometrical patterns made in the same technique.
