An impressive vintage Guro Mask from the Ivory Coast of Africa. The mask is very colorful, oil painted in red, blue, yellow colors. The face is oblong, with elongated cheeks and a narrow nose. The mask contains carved horns of various animals, and a carved make figure between them. Such masks were danced in various ceremonies. Provenance: New York, Private collection.
