Haim Savitzky, Russian, Israeli, 1907 to 2014, an Expressionist oil on canvas painting, Fishing boats in Jaffa port, circa 1950s. Signed lower center, also inscribed verso. Framed. Note: During Savitskys lifetime, 14 of his personal exhibitions took place, including at the House of Artists in Jerusalem, 1978 and Tel Aviv, 1978 and 1983, in galleries in Israel, France, the Netherlands, Great Britain, the USA and other countries. On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the artists birth, Israeli state television produced a documentary about his fate and work. One of a kind artwork.
