Anatoly Timofeivich Zverev, Russian Soviet, 1931 to 1986, pastel on paper painting depicting an abstract composition, Untitled, 1979. Signed with initials and dated lower right. The art was selected by the well-recognized Russian art expert A. Balashov and purchased by R. B. Minaker at an auction held by Swiss Investment Co. in Moscow in 1987. Note: Anatoly Zverev, a Nonconformist artist, representative of the second wave of the Russian avant garde, painter of the Soviet underground.
