A colored aquatint etching print by Luigi Kasimir, titled Wallstreet April, 1936. The striking print represents a street in the Financial District of Lower Manhattan in New York City on cream colored paper in the artists signature manner. Hand signed in pencil by the artist on the lower right. Matted and framed. Bears a Kennedy Galleries Inc. paper label with the information about the artwork attached to the backside. Luigi Kasimir, 1881 to 1962, was an Austro Hungarian born etcher, painter, printmaker and landscape artist. His prints have been popular for more than 75 years, ever since he came to the United States to make a series of etchings of famous landmarks, from the New York City boroughs to of Yosemite National Park.
