A Russian gilt silver presentation box with a hinged lid adorned with an enameled medallion depicting Peter the Great of Russia flanked with gilt silver flag and torch decorations. In the corners there are stylized symbols of Russian monarchical power, inlaid with purple gemstones, possibly rubies. Features mosaic lapis lazuli and malachite inlays to the cover and sides.
