An antique early 20th century English Victorian manner silver plated lidded biscuit box by Elkington and Co., a silver manufacturer active from 1830s to 1963. The box is decorated with etched garlands, floral and foliage ornaments. Mounted on a footed stand with four legs made in a curved foliate scroll design. Marked with an Elkington and Co. hallmark, impressed marks, serial number 13231, on the bottom.Collectible English Silverplate, Serveware And Tableware, Tea And Coffee Sets.
