A double headed terracotta bird face goddess. Bronze Age, 2nd Millennium BC. It was created during the period of the Syro-Hittite kingdom, which existed in the north of modern Syria. A handsome abstract early depiction of the deity with rounded bird faces surrounded by feathers, with donut shaped eyes, and a pinched nose. Hands held to chest. Comes with a stand.
