Lot 0594: WWII NAZI GERMAN THIRD REICH MILITARY MEDALS

A lot of three Nazi German Third Reich military medals. The first is an Iron Cross. On one side the date 1813, on the other side 1870. 2nd class. It was established in 1813 during the Napoleonic Wars. Between 1813 and 1870 it was awarded to 14 men. Manufacturing material: iron, silver, black paint. The second is a 1914 Iron Cross of the 1st class, the highest Imperial German military decoration. Cast iron with crowned letter W for Kaiser Wilhelm I to the center, an Imperial crown on top, and the date 1914, below. A figural plaque, made in the shape of a Nazi eagle holding a swastika insignia, and dated 1939, below, on the top. Screw back design, marked on the nut: RZM, SS, 215 of 41, emblem of an eagle clutching a swastika. The third is a premium German Infantry silver assault badge, with correct pin back, a very nice mid war combat award. These badges were originally issued from 1939 onwards, and were awarded to soldiers of both the Waffen-SS and the Wehrmacht Heer.
