A set of three World War II Nazi German awards. First, an SS Wewelsburg Castle Commemorative Badge. This enamel badge commemorates Wewelsburg Castle which Himmler intended to be the Grail Castle of the SS. Second, an Iron Cross military order, established in 1813 in the Kingdom of Prussia and then awarded in the German Empire and Nazi Germany until 1945. The order was established by Friedrich Wilhelm III in 1813 as an award for military men who distinguished themselves in the war of liberation against the Napoleonic occupation. By the outbreak of World War II, Adolf Hitler reinstated the order, but no longer as a Prussian, but as an all-German award. Third, a German badge for fighting with partisans. It was established on January 30, 1944. The badge depicts a victorious German sword stuck in the ground sign of the end of war. At the bottom of the sign is a skull emblem of the SS. The blade of the sword is wrapped around the Hydra. First and Second World War Nazi German Decorations And Third Reich Military Collectibles.
