A Russian silver footed and lidded candy dish or centerpiece of an elongated oval form. The dish has two figurative handles on the sides. The item is fully covered with a geometrical niello ornament. A silver pear figure tops the lid. Hallmarked with an 875 silver standard and features makers mark on the bottom. Circa the mid of the 20th century.
