A Russian gilt silver casket of a rectangular shape, on four feet, with two similarly decorated angular swing handles and a raised hinged cover centring a glazed en plein enamel plaque painted after the painting Bogatyr, or The Knight at the Crossroad, by Viktor Vasnetsov. The exterior of the casket is enameled with varicoloured cloisonne scrolling floral motifs. With a key escutcheon. Hallmarked with the manufacturer and 88 silver proof marks. Total weight: 419 g.
