An ancient Egyptian copper figurine of Horus. The figurine is nicely detailed, features inlaid eyes accented with engraved details around. Presumably 600- 300 BC. The god Horus was most often depicted in the guise of a falcon or a man with a falcons head. Horus, also known as Heru, Har, Her or Hor in Ancient Egyptian, is one of the most significant ancient Egyptian deities who served many functions, most notably as god of kingship, healing, protection, the sun and the sky. Overall good vintage condition. Signs of age and wear. Covered in patina. There is a crack in the middle of the chest. The corner on the base is dented. Refer to photos. Sold As Is.
