An antique silver pill box of an oval form with a matched lid. The lid is decorated with a relief scene depicting a lion attacking a deer, most likely after an ancient Greek or Parthian motif. The sides are adorned with repousse scrolled foliage patterns. Presumably German, late 19th or early 20th century.
