A cast bronze bust of a young satyr called Faun of Vienna. The surface is covered with a deep brown patina. Comes with a wooden base. Circa the mid of the 20th century. The original bust, now kept in the Louvre, is a Roman copy of a part of the Hellenistic group Invitation to the dance. Only the bust was found in Vienna in 1820 and offered by the city to Louis XVIII in 1822. Classic Bronze Sculpture For Home Decor.
