An antique Japanese woodblock print, Ukiyo e series, Fukuroi from the series Fifty Three Stations of the Tokaido with Beauties, 1848, by Utagawa Kunisada also known as Utagawa Toyokuni III, Japanese 1786 to 1865. Signed with Calligraphy, lower right. Inscribed with calligraphy, upper left. Utagawa Kunisada was a Japanese ukiyo e artist. He is considered the most popular, prolific and commercially successful designer of ukiyo e woodblock prints in 19th century Japan.
