The lot includes an Imperial Russian brass samovar with wooden handles. Ca. 1910s. Etched hallmark with medals on the front, Vassily Pavel Batashevy in Tula. The lot also includes a handled serving tray and a Soviet era tea glass holder with a glass produced circa 1934 - 1940, engraved with the date 7 IX 1937 and featuring a commemorative inscription in Russian.. A samovar is a traditional Russian metal container for boiling water. The Batashev factory based in Tula, Russia, functioned from 1819 to 1917. Tula remains the key center of samovar production. Overall good condition. Signs of wear and Age. The samovar has some dents. There is a small chip on the rim of the glass. Refer to photos. Sold as is.
