An exquisite Russian Easter egg of a traditional ovoid form raised on a spreading foot. The upper part can be opened to reveal a gilded silver interior containing a fine and highly detailed miniature model of the Church of the Annunciation. The entire outside of the egg is decorated with stylized floral and scrolled foliage motifs in blue, green, red, and white cloisonne enamel.
