An antique Japanese, late Meiji Era, covered tripod enamel over brass koro type jar. The ware is adorned with polychrome image of a Chrysanthemum flower made in the Cloisonne technique. The legs are decorated with a geometrical ornament made in the same technique. Mounted on three legs. Unmarked. Inscribed, under the cover. Circa: late 19th century to early 20th century.
