An antique 1829 Russian Empire Nicholas The First One Ruble Silver coin. The obverse a rim of dots along the edge of the coin, a double headed Imperial eagle with wings lowered down in the center, an imperial crown above the heads, the Moscow coat of arms with St. George the Victorious slaying a dragon with a spear, on a horse turned to the right. A torch intertwined with ribbons on the left in the eagles claws, burning on both sides, and part of the ribbon, on the right in the claws there is a laurel wreath and the second part of the ribbon, below under the left paw the initial of the mintzmeister N, under the right G, Nikolai Grachev, below them year of issue of the coin, 1829. An inscription along the edge Coin, on the top left above the eagle, a denomination designation Ruble, between them there is a six pointed star, on the right along the edge. The reverse is adorned with a jagged rim along the edge of the coin, in the middle at the top there is an imperial crown, under it the inscription Pure, below the word Silver, below it 4 Gold, below 21 Shares. A laurel branch, on the left along the edge, an oak branch on the right, at the bottom the branches are connected and tied with a ribbon, above it is the designation of the St. Petersburg Mint S.P.B., above it is a straight line.
