An antique 1826 Russian Empire Nicholas The First Twenty Kopecks Silver coin. The obverse features a rim of dots along the edge of the coin, a double headed Imperial eagle with wings lowered down to the center, above the heads there is an imperial crown, the Moscow coat of arms with St. George the Victorious slaying a dragon with a spear, on a horse turned to the right, on the eagles chest. A torch intertwined with ribbons on the left in the claws, burning on both sides and part of the ribbon, a laurel wreath and the second part of the ribbon, below it on the left and right are the initials of the mintzmeister NG Nikolai Grachev, the year of issue 1826, on the bottom edge of the coin. The reverse is adorned with a rim of dots, an imperial crown in the center at the top, under it the denomination of the coin is 20, below it is the word in Cyrillic, Kopeek, on the left along the edge there is a laurel branch, on the right there is an oak branch, at the bottom the branches are connected and tied with a ribbon, above it is the designation of St. St. Petersburg Mint S.P.B., above it there is a straight line.
