A Russian Imperial badge of the 121st Penza Infantry Regiment. The badge is a silver cross in the Kulmsky shape, covered with black enamel, superimposed on a round gold St. George ribbon. On the cross is laid a silver oxidized double-headed eagle, crowned with three gold Imperial crowns. On the eagles chest is a golden shield covered with red enamel and showing George the Victorious slaying the dragon to the center. On the wings of the eagle are the gold monograms of the Emperors Alexander I and Nicholas II, crowned with gold Imperial crowns. On the vertical arms of the cross are the silver dates 1813 and 1913.
