A WW1 Russian gilt silver enamel officers badge of the 4th Battery of the 14th Artillery Brigade. At its heart, it features the iconic double headed eagle, a symbol of the Russian Empire, beneath three majestic Imperial crowns with ribbons gracefully cascading from them. The eagles breast is adorned with a small shield covered in red enamel, prominently displaying the order of St. George. In the eagles mighty talons, it holds two crossed cannons, one gilt and one silver. The eagles wings bear the monograms of both Paul I and Nicholas II beneath Imperial crowns. On the eagles tail, the number 100 signifies a century of service and commitment. With a multi piece screwback construction and an original nut. Hallmarked with the 84 Russian silver proof mark.
