A very fine Russian figurine of a cockatoo parrot skilfully hand-carved of natural agate stone. The parrot is perched on a T-shaped stand made of silver, set with amethyst cabochons on both sides, and covered with red guilloche enamel. The stand is set in a small round tray made of gilded silver with an exterior covered with blue guilloche enamel. Marked on the bottom with an 88 silver standard next to a female head in a kokoshnik turned to the left and other Russian hallmarks.
