A Russian gilt silver and enamel letter opener knife. The letter opener is made of a hand carved nephrite jade blade decorated with laurel wreath and ribbons to the ricasso on both sides. The handle features crowned Imperial initials on a green guilloche enamel ground. A figural finial is made in the shape of an Imperial double headed eagle.
