An antique Russian 19th-century copper and enamel commemorative coronation cup of Nicholas II. So-called The Khodynka Cup of Sorrows or the Blood Cup. Was made for the coronation of Tsar Nicholas II and Tsarina Alexandra Feodorovna. The cup is decorated with traditional Russian geometrical ornaments in blue and red and bears medallions depicting the Imperial double-headed eagle on one side and the monograms of Nicholas and Alexandra under the date 1896 on the other.
