A trio of cast bronze handles from a massive hydria, Greece, Classical period, ca. mid 5th century BCE. Hydria is a water vessel with applied handles, two horizontal and one vertical. Each handle is cast with spirals, swirls, and scrollwork. The top of the larger vertical handle represents a pair of lionesses feeding a deer. Each handle shows great quality and details.
