An ancient Byzantine coin. Rule of Isaac II Angelus, 1185 to 1195 AD. Electrum aspron trachy, Constantinople mint. The obverse depicts Virgin Mary on throne. The reverse represents the emperor Isaac being crowned by Archangel Michael. The item comes in a case with the NGC guarantee certificate.
