A pair of antique 15th-century Vietmanese ceramic jars or urns of squat bulbous shape. Each piece has a Saga Hoi An Hoard Visal sticker on the bottom, personal numbers 16195 and 13646. The Hoi An ship, discovered in the South China Sea in the early 1990s, was carrying a large cargo of Vietnamese ceramics dated to the mid to late 15th century. The provenance of the pieces was known to be the kilns of the Red River Delta. All pieces unique to the cargo were retained by Vietnams museums for display, the remaining items was sold at US auctions.
