An antique Vietnamese Hoi An Hoard ceramic bowl. The bowl is glazed with enamel in a brown shade. The interior is covered with glaze in blue and white shades. Circa: 16th century. Marked with a paper label, Saga Hoi An Hoard Visal, and numbered, 8239, on the bottom. Starting from the Hoi An ship wreck that sunk late 15th century AD off the Hoi An coast of Vietnam in the South China Sea this Ming ceramic was recovered 70 meters deep in the Dragon Sea by the Malaysian salvage company Saga and exported from Vietnam by Visal, Vietnam Salvage Company.
