An antique Russian silver tea glass holder beautifully designed in the style of early Art Nouveau. The handle is elegantly modeled with stylized floral motifs, the body has pierced-through decorative motifs, hand-engraved in Russian with a commemorative inscription addressed to Vladimir Ivanovich Maksimov and dated 1908. Also etched with a motif of berries and leaves. Hallmarked to the bottom with the makers initials B.A., for Andreev Vasily Ivanovich, Moscow, 1908-1917, and struck with a round assay mark.
