Inscribed with a dedication, To Joe and Jad..., and dated, lower left. Matted. Carl Rabus was an expressionist artist who was persecuted by the National Socialists. After 1945 he dealt intensively with abstract painting. First exhibitions at Hans Goltz in Munich and with Herwarth Walden in the Sturm Gallery in Berlin, stays in the USA and Israel where he exhibited his pictures in various galleries. One of a kind artwork.
