A fine quality very large antique Chinese round charger plate with a wooden stand. The charger is decorated with shaded polychrome cloisonne enamel patterns depicting beautiful and highly stylized traditional motifs with dragons, phoenixes, various auspicious symbols like the endless knot, and scrolled foliage on a bright teal blue ground. The exterior is adorned with a repeated floral pattern on a blue ground made using the cloisonne enamel technique. Raised on a nicely detailed openwork wooden stand. Dating to the late 19th century.
