Three vintage Russian Mstera lacquer wooden trinket boxes. Crafted in different shapes – rectangular, hexagonal, and octagonal – each box features a hinged lid. The first two boxes are inscribed with the names Suzdal and Uglich, and they depict charming cityscape scenes. These scenes capture the essence of these historic Russian towns. The third box, titled Couple, presents a delightful dating scene. This box provides a whimsical and romantic touch, depicting a couple engaged in a charming rendezvous. All three boxes are meticulously hand-painted with intricate details, showcasing the skill and artistry of the Mstera lacquerware tradition. Circa the mid late 20th century.
