After Pablo Picasso, Spanish, 1881 to 1973, a limited edition color lithograph on wove paper, Girl Before a Mirror, after the oil painting on canvas, which he created in 1932. Numbered in pencil, 31 of 375, lower left. Framed. The painting is a portrait of Picasso's mistress and muse, Marie Therese Walter, who is depicted standing in front of a mirror looking at her reflection. Pablo Picasso, from 1881 to 1973, was a Spanish painter, sculptor, printmaker, ceramicist, and theatre designer who spent most of his adult life in France. Regarded as one of the most influential artists of the 20th century, he is known for co-founding the Cubist movement, the invention of constructed sculpture, the co-invention of collage, and for the wide variety of styles that he helped develop and explore.
