A German hand painted porcelain military figure by Scheibe Alsbach Porzellanmanufaktur. The composition depicts Prince Eugene riding a horse. The figure is covered with polychrome enamel and decorated with gilded accents. Mounted on a figural base featuring relief gilded images of birds with outstretched wings. Inscribed in French, Le Prince Eugene, on the front of the base. Marked with a blue ink manufacturer mark, on the backside. Circa: the first half of the 20th century. Prince Eugene Francis of Savoy Carignano, 1663 to 1736, better known as Prince Eugene, was a field marshal in the army of the Holy Roman Empire and of the Austrian Habsburg dynasty during the 17th and 18th centuries.
