Color offset print, reproduction of the 1808 painting titled Two Leopards Lying in the Exeter Exchange by Jacques-Laurent Agasse, 1767 to 1849, a Swiss animal and landscape painter. The artwork depicts leopards against the dark background. The original piece is now in a private collection. Black mat, black frame. The Exeter Exchange was a building on the north side of the Strand in London, famous for the menagerie that occupied its upper floors for over fifty years, from 1773 until the building was demolished in 1829.
