Belongs to the generation of the sixties. He worked for Goslitizdat and created illustrations for books by Goethe, E. T. A. Hoffmann, H. K. Andersen, the brothers Grimm, M. Maeterlinck, K. G. Paustovsky, J. Soderberg, T. Moore, J. Vrchlitsky and others writers. One of the largest and most authoritative representatives of the unofficial art of the 1950s to 1980s. One of a kind artwork.
