A WWII Nazi German Close Combat Clasp 2nd class in silver. Features a centerpiece consisting of the eagle and swastika national emblem surmounting a crossed bayonet and hand grenade with, each side, a spray of oak leaves, interspersed with a sunburst ray effect. Has a pin back with an integral hinge and catch. Complete with an award certificate issued in the name of Dieter Menzel and dated 1943.
