An antique Russian Orthodox hand painted icon of Christ Pantocrator, the Lord Almighty, or Savior Jesus Christ. Mixed media painting: egg tempera, gesso, and levkas on a wood board. The icon features an embossed gilt Silver riza or oklad, adorned with chased and engraved traditional detailed patterns. Inscribed lower to the center, upper right and left. Framed. Circa: mid to late 19th century. The icon of Jesus Christ the Almighty is one of the central images of the Christian iconography of the Savior.
