A mid-20th century glazed ceramic figurine by L. Hjorth Factory. The piece represents a child embracing a white lamb. Embossed mark L. Hjorth Denmark 515 is on the bottom. Lauritz Adolph Hjorth, 1834 to 1912, was a Danish potter who founded his own production in Bornholm in 1859. The factory produced terracotta pieces and stoneware until 1995.
