An antique mid-19th century English sterling silver centerpiece, a serving tray shaped as a shell. The piece rests on three claw feet. Richly garnished with etched ornaments and owners monogram, CCW. Sheffield assay mark, lion passant guardant, letter Z for the year 1867, HA hallmark are by the monogram. Weight: 702 grams. HA stands for Harry Atkin, the establisher of Atkin Bros, a firm active from the mid-18th century to 1958. Collectible Silverware, Tableware And Serveware.
