Lot 0312: JAPANESE MEIJI ERA CLOISONNE ENAMEL GOLDSTONE VASE

A vintage Japanese, late Meiji era, enamel over brass vase. The vase has an amphora shaped body and a fluted neck. The ware is enameled with polychrome images depicting a Phoenix bird, a pouch, a flowers, a fan surrounded by geometrical, mesh, swirl and abstract patterns made in the Cloisonne technique. The neck is adorned with swirl and scaly ornaments made in the same technique. The base features scaly and geometrical motifs made in the same technique.
