A vintage Japanese enamel over brass vase. The vase has an unusual shaped body and a fluted neck. The ware is enameled with a polychrome image of blossoming Iris flowers, and butterfly and swirl motifs made in the Cloisonne technique. The neck is adorned with a geometrical ornament made in the same technique. The base features floral, swirl, and geometrical patterns made in the same technique.
