An antique Japanese Meiji Era enamel over brass brush pot. The cylindrical form pot is enameled with polychrome images of blossoming flowers and birds, and a geometrical ornament made in the Cloisonne technique. The neck and the base of the pot are enameled with polychrome floral, foliage, geometrical, and scrollwork motifs made in the Cloisonne technique. The ground is inlaid with a Goldstone.
