Junbi Huang, Chinese, 1898 to 1991, a large mixed media, ink and watercolor on scroll paper depicting an autumn water side landscape within a misty mountainous scene, characterized with red leafy trees outgrow within a dense forest. Signed and inscribed with calligraphy, followed by artists iron red signature seals, upper left, with a further seal, lower right. Mounted on olive green silk border. Provenance: Eden Fine Antiques Galleries, Marietta, GA, United States, November 11, 2016, lot 127. Huang Jun Bi was a famous modern artist adept at landscape painting. He studied under Li Yao Ping to learn Chinese drawing and then entered Chu ting Art Institute to learn western painting. He initiated a school to teach painting and therefore was respected as teachers with many good pupils. He is regarded as a very indispensable artist and educator in the history of the Chinese art in the 20th century. One of a kind artwork.
