An antique Bohemian Wilhelm Schiller and Son Majolica porcelain vase. The vase is adorned with Sterling Silver inlays depicting poppy flowers, adorned with etched ornaments, and a fluted and curved mouth. Marked with a Sterling Silver hallmark, a WS and S mark, and numbered, 149017, on the bottom. Circa: 1900s. Wilhelm Schiller began production of porcelain and earthenware in Bodenbach, Bohemia in 1829, operating under the name of Schiller and Gerbing. In 1885, the firm was dissolved and renamed Wilhelm Schiller and Son and remained in operation until the onset of World War I.
